The Center for Sustainabiltiy presents a special program by Mecklenburg Parks and Recrecation.

CPCC's Center for Sustainabiltiy presents a very special (free) presentation at Central Piedmont Community College’s Central Campus, this Tuesday, October 7th in Tate Hall.
There are two presentations; one at 11Am and another at 7:30PM. Free parking in the “Staff” parking deck along 4th street.
A Vision for the Future
- Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation presents their 10yr Master Plan for increasing green space in our county and what that means for our “environmental wellness”.
- Up to date details on the Little Sugar Creek Greenway will be presented including the section that runs through Central Campus.
- The county’s tree canopy loss has been of great concern. Hear how the county plans to take measures to change this.
- By 2030, it is projected that 90% of Mecklenburg County will be developed! 90%!!! Come hear how we can “lock in” green space now!
