What is the Pickens Plan?
The plan calls for investing in power in generation from domestic renewable resources, such as wind, and using our abundant supplies of natural gas as a transporation fuel, replacing more than one-third of our imported oil. The Pickens Plan was unveiled on July 8, 2008, and since that time more than 1.5 million people have joined the "Pickens Army" through the website pickensplan.com.
