Student Requirements

Who is eligible to attend FREE HRD classes/workshops?
Tuition and fees may be waived for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• 18 years of age or older
• Resident of Mecklenburg County
• Unemployed
• Underemployed
• Received notice of pending layoffs
• Working and eligible for Federal Earned Income Tax Credit
• Working and earn wages at or below two hundred percent (200%) of the federal poverty guidelines
