Test scores on the current 2002 series of GED® Tests have expired.

Any test taker who passed a partial number of GED® Tests but did not complete all five parts of the 2002 series will need to retake the entire test once the 2014 series.

Any test taker who did not achieve the minimum required passing score on the 2002 series will need to take all tests over on the 2014 series.  Minimum passing score for the 2002 series was a 41 on each individual test with a cumulative score of 2250.

The 2014 GED® Test is administered on computers.

In order to take the GED® Test you will need to have sufficient computer skills.

GED® Test content knowledge needed has increased.

The four subject areas tested include:

  • Social Studies
  • Science
  • Language Arts
  • Math

The cost of the GED® Test has increased.

The GED® testing fee for computer-based tests is $80 for a complete battery of tests.

This does not include any re-tests. The individual testing fee is $20 per test and $6 per re-test at CPCC.
