Personal Training Certification
In six-weeks, you can prepare for and take the national exam to become a Certified Personal Trainer. You'll get 15 hours of hands-on training to prepare you for working one-on-one with clients in fitness facilities. Another 15 hours will be lecture and discussion on topics, including anatomy, exercise physiology, nutrition, musculoskeletal injuries, health assessments and more. You're final week is the national exam. Proof of CPR/AED certification and 30 hours of internship are required for certification.
Students should purchase textbook (available in CPCC bookstore) before first class.
