About Me: I am originally from London, England, but have lived in Charlotte for almost twenty years. My CPCC website is at:

Career Accomplishments: I hold a doctorate in history and teach courses at CPCC on world civilizations and American history. I am sometimes asked to present about colonial and revolutionary history for the CPCC “Trail of History” television programs. I serve as the Division Director for the Behavioral & Social Sciences Division at CPCC.

Experience in your Field: I volunteer and give tours at several local historical sites. I think that Charlotte has a rich and interesting history that connects to national and international developments.

Additional Areas of Interest: The American Revolution, the history of the Romans, and classical music.

Affiliations/Recognitions: Member of the Mecklenburg Historical Association.
