Area of instruction at CPCC:
The World Around Us - Magic, Sleight of Hand, Skullduggery and Chicanery for Fun and (maybe) Profit
About me:
I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama, a master’s degree from Emory University and a doctorate from Hood Theological Seminary. I began performing magic as a youngster for a hobby, and it slowly grew into a wonderful opportunity to travel and perform across the United States.
Career accomplishments:
I have taught magic in private and public classes. I have taught sleight of hand in sales meetings and executive offices. My work has won awards in trade shows for “Best Booth” and “Best Attraction.” I have performed on the street in Picolo Spoleto in Charleston, S.C. I have also been a street performer in Paris, Amsterdam and Munich.
Experience in your field:
A performing magician for more than 40 years, I have successful experience in trade shows, television, meetings, banquets and other venues. I learned my first trick when I was five years old, and I never stopped learning. I have published material in the magazines of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians as well as the esoteric publication, MAGICK.
Additional areas of interest:
Fly fishing, reading classic literature and chess
