Classic Cakes

Do you remember childhood birthdays and the cakes that Mom used to bake?  She knew your favorite cakes, whether it was chocolate layer, carrot or pound cake.  The perfect cake begins with the ingredients and the roles they play in creating a cake.  Cakes can be any size or shape, single or multilayerered, light and airy to rich and dense.  Demonstration of mixing methods will be used to achieve that perfect cake.
