Enhance your career opportunities even further by going on to become a Certified Bookkeeper (CB) through the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB). The AIPB awards the Certified Bookkeeper designation to individuals that meet initial and ongoing certification requirements.

AIPB Requirements

  • Experience: At least two years of full-time experience or the part-time or freelance equivalent, which may be obtained before or after passing the examination.
  • Examination: Candidates must pass a four-part national examination, including two parts given at any Prometric Test Center (available nationwide).
  • Code of Ethics: Applicants must sign a Code of Ethics.
