Activity Director Part II
Advance your career or enter the field with this comprehensive 180-hour course to develop the leadership, compliance and managerial skills needed for success as an activity director in the long-term care settings. You will complete half of the course hours online,with 90 hours of supplementary fieldwork called a preceptorship.
The preceptorship is required for satisfactory completion and must be performed in an approved long term care setting concurrently with class. This course, when combined with MEPAP Part I, will fulfill the MEPAP requirement for certification through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals. It will not meet regulatory requirements to qualify the student as an activity director in a nursing home or assisted living setting.
