Human Resources Development Training
Human Resources Development (HRD) program is a statewide initiative sponsored by the North Carolina Community College System. The HRD's role is to serve unemployed and underemployed individuals across Mecklenburg County who are struggling to deal with the stark transitions taking place in the economy.
HRD provides FREE skills assessment services, employability skills training and career development activities for adults who are unemployed and underemployed.
Charlotte & Mecklenburg County Job Help Center at the Public Library - Main Branch
The Library offers a free web-based resume building program, in addition to job search services administered in the Job Help Center and library branches.
Dress for Success is a suiting program that provides interview-appropriate clothing for individuals in need. Clients must be referred by one of the community agencies listed on their website.
