BeWell received National Awards
April 2012 - American Heart Association award CPCC BeWell program the 2012 Charlotte Area “Innovation Award. These are awarded to companies that creatively implement programs to promote physical activity in the workplace and/or community. The award will be hung in the Human Resources lobby.
April 2012 - For the 7th consecutive year CPCC was awarded the designation of 2012 Gold Level Fit-Friendly Company by the American Heart Association due to efforts encouraging a healthy lifestyle in the workplace. CPCC was the first organization in Charlotte and one of two community colleges nationwide to receive this award. Accepting the award were the BeWell committee members. The award will be hung in the Human Resources lobby.
October 2007 - The BeWell committee received the American Association of Community Colleges - NCSPOD Council Innovation Award. This award recognizes achievement in a program, project, or event that demonstrates innovative ideas, adaptations, activities, or approaches that enhance the effectiveness of staff, program, and/or organizational development. The BeWell program was also featured on the Charlotte TV 14 news station.
