Walk the Walk: One Mile Campus Walking Trails

Walk the Walk
It is well known that walking is one of the best, easiest and cheapest things that anyone can do to reduce health risk factors and at the same time reduce stress. The BeWell committee and the Human Resources department in collaboration with the American Heart Association and Thorlo Socks are hosting “Walk the Walk” an employee walking campaign to promote worksite wellness and healthier lifestyles.

Award Prizes

Employees who walk (at CPCC, at the gym or at home) 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 miles will receive awards and recognition. After you reach these milestones, contact Karla Jones.

  • After walking 250 miles, employees receive a BeWell t-shirt.
  • After walking 500 miles, employees receive a BeWell pin.
  • After walking 1,000 miles, employees receive a 1,000 BeWell pin.

Campus Maps: "One Mile Walking Trails"
The "1 Mile Walking Trails" at each campus provide a convenient option for all employees and students to refresh during the midst of their demanding schedules, while increasing their daily physical exercise. These walking trails are intended for everyone, each campus map has a designated one mile interior and exterior marked trail indicating the number of lap(s) required.

One way from Elizabeth Ave to E. Morehead St. = 1 mile
