On Veterans Day, November 11, we pay special tribute to America’s 25 million living military veterans. We honor them for exemplifying the true character of the American spirit, personal courage, love of country and devotion to duty. We thank them for sacrificing their personal aspirations and safety to procure and protect the freedoms of this great nation. Today, the members of our Armed Forces follow in a proud tradition handed down by the heroes who served before them and those soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom.

CPCC’s Financial Aid/Veterans Affairs Office and Student Life invite you to participate in honoring our veterans at CPCC. It is our privilege to say “thank you” for their service and honor them for their sacrifices. Veterans have served this country in many capacities, not only in war but times of national crisis. On Tuesday, November 11, we will have Appreciation/Resource Tables set up at each campus during office hours in the public areas close to the FA/VA Office with patriotic label ribbons and informational handouts regarding financial aid, veteran’s affairs, college and community resources. We will also have “Thank You” cards that everyone can sign. The cards will be displayed in the FA/VA Offices at each campus. We look forward to your participation in this special event to thank our students, faculty and staff who have served our country.
