Speaker Series Event to Raise Awareness of Economic, Cultural and Political Concerns

WHAT: Central Piedmont Community College’s (CPCC) International Business Program is pleased to present an educational event for the CPCC and Charlotte communities to enjoy – “Doing Business in a Conflicted Region: Israel/Palestine.”
Cheri Lovell, a former consultant with the United Nations, will review the history of the Israel/Palestine conflict. She will outline the problems each nation faces in seeking peace and discuss the ethical issues of doing business in this conflicted region.
Sponsored by the College’s International Business Program and the Charlotte World Affairs Council (WACC), the event is designed to encourage dialogue and expose Queen City residents and CPCC faculty/students to relevant economic, cultural and political issues affecting the global community.
