Institute for Entrepreneurship hosts 5th annual “Entrepreneurial Success” event May 18
WHAT: In conjunction with U.S. Small Business Week, Central Piedmont Community College’s Institute for Entrepreneurship will host its fifth annual “Entrepreneurial Success” event to help new entrepreneurs and existing small business owners find professional success in the marketplace.
The one-day event will be moderated by Calvin F. Patterson, chairman and CEO of Earnest Harvest LLC, and will feature networking opportunities, expert speakers and a panel discussion, including:
· Featured Speaker - Shawn Brodof: Hear from Shawn Brodof, owner of Clarity Coaching and author of “The Termite Effect.” Shawn is a consummate entrepreneur and a Licensed Professional Business Coach who has successfully started four businesses. He is active in the community conducting training workshops and seminars on business-related topics and likes to focus on developing viable plans of attack that enable his clients to reach their goals through a process of incremental improvements.
· Featured Speaker – Eric Dudley: Learn from Eric Dudley, owner of WebsiteBiz, a leading interactive marketing agency specializing in Internet marketing strategies, social media marketing, permission-based email marketing, search engine optimization and more. Eric has led WebsiteBiz to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies for four consecutive years and has been recognized by organizations such as the Charlotte Business Journal and Charlotte Business Leader for his entrepreneurial acumen and success.
· Panel Discussion – “Lessons Learned from Successful Institute Students:” Join us as five local entrepreneurial experts – Suzanne McVeigh, Joseph Hayden, Thomasena Holloway, Rodney Baker and Olive Stewart – share their entreprenerual success stories with you during this special panel discussion moderated by Sherese Duncan, president and CEO of Effició, Inc.
