Final Performances of Summer Theatre’s Into the Woods

CPCC Summer Theatre will present final performances of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods on June 22 at 7 p.m.; June 23 & 24 at 7:30 p.m.; June 25 and 26 at 8 p.m.; June 22 at 7 p.m.; and June 23 & 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Halton Theater on the CPCC Central Campus.  Single tickets are $21, $17 and $15. Once Upon a Time there was composer who took some fairy tales and turned them upside down and out came Into the Woods.  A beautiful retelling of those classic tales of our youth reimagined for grownups and the kid within us all. Told through a combination of song, music and dramatic action, Into the Woods is unlike any musical you may be familiar with. Take some time for an adventure this summer Into the Woods.

The Into the Woods cast includes Ashby Blakely as The Baker, Susan Gundersheim as the Baker’s Wife, Olivia Edge as the Witch, Susan Roberts Knowlson as Cinderella’s Step Mother, Katie Chung as Cinderella, Britney Caughell as Little Red Riding Hood, Amy Van Looy as Jack’s Mom and Adam Kaplan as Jack.
