CPCC’s Career Strategies Workshops Stress Importance of Interviews, Résumés

WHAT: It’s always important to re-evaluate the content of your résumé or brush up on your interviewing abilities. Therefore, Career Services professionals at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) will host two workshops for individuals in the Queen City who need assistance with their interview techniques and résumé writing skills.

Featured workshops will include:

·         Re-writing Résumés for Career Change: (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.) Learn how to write your résumé for optimal results in a changing economy. During this small group workshop, discover how to format and word your résumé to reflect an interest in a career change.
·         Top 10 Interview Tips for Tough Questions: (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) Learn how to anticipate and answer some of the most difficult interview questions. Gain an understanding about what employers are looking for in your responses to some of their most subtle questions.

WHERE: Central High Building, CPCC Central Campus, 1201 Elizabeth Ave., Charlotte, N.C.
 
CONTACT: Cost per session is $17. Attend both sessions for $30 (payment is required at time of registration). To register, call 704.330.6551. Deadline to register is two days before each event. Parking will be available for $3 in the CPCC faculty/theater parking deck, located off of East 4th Street.
