WHAT: CPCC Summer Theatre will wrap up its 2009 Patron’s Choice Season with the Tony award-winning musical “The Producers.”
Written by Mel Brooks, “The Producers” follows two theatrical producers, Max and Leo, who scheme to get rich by overselling shares in a Broadway flop. Complications arise for the two characters when the show unexpectedly turns out to be a success.
The humor of the show is accessible to a wide range of audiences, and draws on ridiculous accents, caricatures of Nazis and many inside jokes about show business.

WHO:
Courtney Markowitz as “Ulla:” Courtney is pleased to be joining the CPCC Summer Theatre this season. A graduate of Elon University, Courtney has appeared in a variety of productions, including “Bye, Bye Birdie” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”
Matt Keffer as “Leo Bloom:” Matt is a seasoned veteran of the CPCC Summer Theatre Stage. A graduate of Elon University, he has appeared in past productions of “Parade,” “42nd Street” and “The Wizard of Oz.”
