CPCC requests your help with a research project

last modified Oct 02, 2009 04:19 PM

Central Piedmont Community College’s (CPCC) Web Development and Community Relations and Marketing Services departments are working together to assess the effectiveness of our current website. The goal of this project is to determine how you view our website; specifically, can you find information easily? Is our content organized in a way that makes sense to you?, etc.

Your participation is critical to the success of this project. Your opinions will be used to shape the site’s content and to help us create a user-friendly site that includes meaningful information that is important to you.

In order to hear from you, we’re including a link below to take you to what is known as a card sort. A card sort simply asks you to “drag and drop” various topics found on the current CPCC website into specific categories. Please note that there are no right or wrong answers!

The card sort should take no more than 15 minutes of your time.

Once you finish the card sort you will see a second link. This will take you to a brief demographics survey. Your personal information will not be shared, and all results from this survey will be presented to others in aggregate.

If you have any questions about the project, please contact Ken Ingle, director of web development, at 704.330.6957 or at ken.ingle@cpcc.edu.
