CPCC Opera Theatre announces 2009-2010 performance season

Productions to include Pirates of Penzance and Elijah

Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Opera Theatre is pleased to announce its 2009-2010 opera season to the Charlotte community. This year’s lineup includes Pirates of Penzance, Gilbert and Sullivan’s hilarious operetta and family-friendly production; and Elijah, Felix Mendelssohn’s dramatic oratorio that will appeal to opera enthusiasts throughout the area.

All performances will take place on the Halton Theater stage, located in the Overcash Center Building on CPCC’s Central Campus. The 2009-2010 performance schedule is as follows: 

Pirates of Penzance: January 15-17

Elijah: April 30, May 1-2

CPCC Opera Theatre season tickets are $30 per person. Individuals interested in purchasing single tickets may do so for $14 and $17.
