CPCC Cato Campus Hosts Spring Plant Sale

WHAT: Central Piedmont Community College’s Horticulture Technology program invites you to attend its Spring Plant Sale. An array of vegetables, herbs, annuals and perennials will be available for purchase throughout the two-day event. All proceeds will benefit the Horticulture Technology program at CPCC.
Attendees can choose from a variety of items such as:
·         vegetables – eggplants, lettuce, peppers and tomatoes
·         herbs – chives, dill, sage and parsley
·         annuals – zinnias, marigolds and others
·         perennials – coral bells, blanket flowers, whirling butterflies and more
If you’re a gardener at heart, you won’t want to miss this event. Mark your calendar today!

The Horticulture Technology program at CPCC offers diploma, certification or two-year degree program options. The curriculum prepares individuals for various careers in horticulture. Course work includes plant science, plant materials, soils, landscaping and pest management and prepares students for employment opportunities in nurseries, garden centers, governmental agencies and greenhouses.
