WHAT: Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), together with The Charlotte Business Journal, is proud to host the 14th annual Charlotte Skyline Run to raise money for CPCC student scholarships and other student needs.
All Charlotte runners, walkers, wheelchairs and baby joggers are invited to participate in this first-class running event that boasts an event course chosen to be flat, fast and furious. Participants of all ages may select from one of three featured events, including the one-half mile Family Fun Run (for ages 12 and under), the Kaye McGarry 5K Run or the SunTrust 5K Walk for Health.
Throughout the morning hours, Skyline Run attendees will be entertained by the musical talents of Flat Possum Hoppers and have the opportunity to later join the fun at CPCC’s ArtsFest, where the celebration’s signature event – “Festival on the Green” – will be in full swing and will feature an array of music, food and interactive exhibits until 4 p.m.
