Curriculum Students Not Seeking Credentials
Enrollment procedures for curriculum students who are not seeking credentials.
After Submitting your application to CPCC:
Go to “CPCC Login” to set up your userID and password
You will need a userID and password to gain access to student electronic services like e-mail, e-locker, computer login, and Blackboard courses, after registering and paying for classes.
Obtain your residence status for tuition purposes as determined by the College.
Applicants who wish to be classified as in-state are responsible for providing documentation if requested to do so.
Meet Course Prerequisite Requirements
Take the placement test to meet prerequisites requirements for the class you will be taking at Central Piedmont Community College unless:
You can provide qualifying ACT or SAT scores. Click ACT/SAT Placement Test Waiver for more information;
You can provide qualifying COMPASS or ASSET scores. Click CPCC Placement Test Cut Scores for more information;
You have successfully transferred* certain college level math and English coursework.
Schedule an appointment by calling 704-330-2722 to be directed to the appropriate person for the testing location you desire.
It is recommended that you review the Accuplacer Study guide available on the Testing Website.
*To have previous college credits reviewed for transfer, have official copies of college transcripts mailed to CPCC and complete a transcript evaluation request form. Request forms are available online or at the Student Records office.
