5.07 Course Load

I. Definition

A student who is registered for the equivalent of at least 12 semester hours of credit during fall or spring terms or 9 semester hours of credit during summer term is a full-time student.

II. Regulation

Students must obtain overload approval for 19-20 hours during fall and spring terms and for 14-15 hours during summer term from a faculty advisor, program chair, division director, or appropriate instructional dean. The dean of the student's program of study area must approve overloads of 21 or more hours during fall or spring terms or 16 or more hours during summer term.
