"Visual Narratives" is a term coined by the great comics illustrator, Will Eisner, to describe the power of telling stories through a combination of words and pictures. We offer a Visual Narrative Certificate, a series of five courses that will introduce you to the world of graphic storytelling with the goal of creating and publishing your own comics, graphic novels and picture books.

Botanical imagery is used throughout the design world and has been a staple in design for thousands of years. In the last ten years there has been a renaissance of interest in botanical painting. This Certificate in Botanical Illustration is a three course series designed for those who love the natural world and would like to try capture the beauty of nature through traditional illustration methods and techniques.

This course is an introduction to practical methods and ideas for being an environmentally responsible designer, including a review of new processes and materials that are becoming available, operating a "green" studio, and strategies for engaging with clients in discussions of sustainable business practices.
