Reaffirmation of Accreditation

Message from the President

Greetings! Since its inception in 1963, Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) has been committed to excellence in educational quality for its students and the community. CPCC’s accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and continued reaffirmation proudly confirm continuing commitment to excellence.

The College is currently involved in preparations for its decennial reaffirmation in 2014. The reaffirmation process provides an opportunity to assess and continue to improve processes and practices that have earned the College numerous awards and recognition.

CPCC’s vision and mission focus on meeting the needs of students and employers. As a national leader in workforce development, the College prepares students for the workforce—whether they are emerging workers, existing workers, entrepreneurial workers, or transitional workers. The College’s goal is to support each student’s success.

Additional information about CPCC’S reaffirmation is available on this website. Complete information on the SACSCOC reaffirmation process may be found at the SACSCOC.

We look forward to celebrating CPCC's successful reaffirmation in 2014!

Cordially,
Dr. Tony Zeiss
