CPCC's Arts: Visual, Performing and Interior Design Division offers an Associates Degree of Fine Arts with concentrations in Dance, Music, Drama, and Visual Arts. The Interior Design programs offer an Associates Degree of Applied Science. The division offers many general education courses. The Digital Media, Journalism and Communication Division offers students opportunities to learn about journalism, communication, simulation and gaming and digital film including videography and photography. The Early Childhood Education Division is committed to providing instructional excellence in preparing individuals to work with children from infancy through middle childhood in diverse learning environments. Students combine theories with practice in actual settings with young children under the supervision of qualified teachers. Graduates are prepared to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs in early childhood settings. Employment opportunities include child development and child care programs, preschools, public and private schools, Head Start programs and school-age programs.
Our Engineering Technologies Division will give you an opportunity to prepare for a position that will help society in a meaningful way. As a result, our engineering technology graduates have some of the most interesting, challenging and highest paying jobs in the region.

The hospitality industry represents 8.1 percent of the global economy and is projected to increase to 18 percent by 2012, adding more than 1.6 million new jobs. Join this growing career field by earning a degree or certificate in culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, or hotel and restaurant management at CPCC – home to the only culinary program that is accredited by the American Culinary Federation Foundation Accrediting Commission (ACFFAC) in Charlotte.
